It looks impressive and I'm sure they had some luck with rolls too but the only one above 2 star is Veigar and woodland falls off a lot late game. Plenty of counters to mage - poison, light, mystic, buying out the Veigar. I see this is bronze, so people probably just stuck to one game plan and let him continue the win streak.

Yea this wouldn't happen at higher elos. At higher elos people actually scout and if they see you going for Veigar 3, they will start buying Veigars just to deny it.
