"Balance"

No matter how much things like Olaf, Glacial, Sword breaker, Hush, BM Noct get nerfed they still seem to run rampant.

I'm starting to believe that riot don't have an issue with balance, the bigger faults lie in the game design with these broken mechanics. Set 2 just needs to go and be built from the ground up. The elemental idea was nice but unfortunately executed poorly.

had a Zed with item 3107 item 3026 the other day but

when you have a broken mechanic and still lose on the 7th

OOF

Tanks are too weak and if you build to counter blender will just be 100% useless vs a magic team, that and building to counter blender requires 2 thornmail.

Only God can perfect balance this type of game.

How can you balance this: comp 1 > comp 2 > comp 3 > comp 1 ? It's impossible.

RIOT does the best to balance this game. They have no reason to not do that.

LoL is balanced and the most played game in the world and this tell me they know how to balance games.

Suggests are more welcome than saying "RIOT WTF!!!".

I don't mind those things because you can work around them. What I am running into now, about every game, is thornmail stacking wardens, and watching every unit die to their own autos - They do what predators should do, but better. It's absolutely insane. I want to test and see how shadow/mage or infernal does with them, but about everything else I've tried does not work.

I've just tested 6 Blademasters, 3 Assasins, 2 Warden, 2 Mountain (3 BotRK on Khazix, Nocturne and Qiyana), Rageblade on Noc, Seraph and GA on Khazix, tank Maphite.

I beat anything except Olaf + predators, but Olaf was beaten by Mage.

Mages > Olaf > blender Noc > Mages. This proves balance.

I don't care your down-votes. You can complain whatever you want. You will figure out I'm right after all.

Also I'm diamond now with both accounts heroboy10 and heroboy20.

I saw so many other viable builds during games.

TFT 2 is much better now. Well done RIOT.

Riot never nerf Olaf because according to stats he is OK. Maybe the same reason you played Olaf once from 20 games.

"broken mechanics", do you mean blender Noc ? As blender Noc you finished maximum 3 top position. I guess you complain because opponent's blender Noc won't let you to build a specific comp ?

Set 2 is much better than set 1. So many viable comps now. I like it.

Elaborate please!

Olaf should be removed completely from TFT, the only way to counter this sht I can do is either using him in my compositions which is my least favorite one and the other solution buying as much it comes and keep it in corner in order not to be bought with other players. I am very angry and during the last 2 weeks - plat to gold III now - I'm just losing to players playing Olaf with only having under 10 lives although I made it to be 1st or 2nd through all game.

Hmm, Diamond and Platinum I barely see Olaf + Glacial/Berserker but I won't deny his power.

Olaf can be easy shut down by Thornmail or magic damage or Rangers. He usually dies because he is focused and you can't control this.

Blender Nocturne is not so easy to get (depend on spatula) but indeed can shut down ADC/APC quick before they ulti.

Also I noticed and tested 6 powerful combination and I can say they are equals (exclude 3 golds units):

  • Blender Nocturne (maybe too powerful)
  • 6 Inferno
  • 6 Summoner + 3 Assassin
  • 3 Mages + 4 Ocean
  • Soulbound + 3 Shadow + 4 Warden/3 Summoners
  • 4 + Ranger (Broken Sword) + 4 Warden

The comb: Olaf + Glacial/Poison + Berserker is still viable, but not broken.

With hyper-rol we can have much more powerful combinations and this is good.

Also there are OP synergies but hard to get (so I consider balanced) such like 4 Electric or 4 Crystal.

Also I like the power of all tier 5 units.

Overall I like how they made TFT 2. Well done RIOT.
