Exciting Changes to Teamfight Tactics
I have played TFT for a whole minute now, and I've seen some really great things about the game and other things that I would change.
Here are 4 major and minor tweaks that I think TFT could implement to make the game better:
-
Adding more items -I think adding more items to TFT would add more variability and skill into the game. I also think it would be more exciting as you would be able to have more complete builds on your team. In most games, I typically can only fully build 2 ,maybe 3 champions before I run out of items. I think having the ability to fully build up to half your team (4-5 champions) would make it more interesting.
-
Implementing 2 star champions on carousel I think this would be a cool feature as the game drags on into late game. You could have the higher cost champions (4-5 gold) remain 1 stars on the carousel, however the 1-2 cost champions could be 2 star. I think this would allow for more dynamic play and options on whether you would want to continue building your lower cost champions or take higher cost ones.
-
Bigger/changing board This is an idea I thought of that could go a few different directions. One idea would be to simply make the board slightly larger to allow for more strategy on where you place your champions. Second idea would be to have the board start small, and have it gradually get larger as the rounds progress. Third idea would be to have the board change shape/structure each round. For example: square, circle, cross, etc. This could allow for more strategy on where you place your champions.
-
Formation buffs This last one was a neat idea that I think would be extremely fun to implement into TFT. The way you design your formations of champions on the board should give you different buffs. For example you could have a pyramid, straight line, hexagon, etc. Whatever formation you decided to choose could require a certain amount of champions and a certain structure to achieve it. This idea could allow for much more variability, strategy, and excitement as you could feel like a general on the board.
Let me know what you think, or how you could change these to make them even better!
