Qiyana and Teamfight Tactics

Before : i know, TFT comes in OCE first and will be released later on NA/EUW/EUNE etc.

So.. next week we will have the Patch 9.13, with Qiyana and Teamfight Tactics. (everything can be delayed due to bugs etc.)

The problem i see is that Qiyana is not in Teamfight Tactic available as an unit.

Too new? not even on live server? that could be the reasons, but i think, when both come in 9.13 most people won't care for Qiyanas release or won't care for TFT at all.

Some will tryhard to play Qiyana on the rift, others, me included will take some time off of the rift and play some TFT. But either, we won't see Qiyana or the flair of TFT.

But when Qiyana will be released as an unit in TFT, everyone can have something of Qiyana, either on the rift or in TFT.

Here are some details i thought about her as an unit:

Classes: Noble (as she is some kind of princess or something like that? didn't read her lore that much tbh) Assassin

Skill : She uses her Q to deal 150/250/350 dmg (or 200/300/400)

Classic or Battleboss Qiyana?

Classic, use her Classic Skin for TFT

TFT is going to be a new primary game mode. there's no way it wont be. it's a big hit right now.

As far as bitch queen of the green... well she's not looking so hot anymore. The hype for her died a while ago.

you mentioned champs not being in TFT... my thoughts on that are as followed.

Yuumi is an item.

The problem with adding Qiyana to the current build of TFT is that she doesn't have a faction. Currently there are several factions that are balanced around each other. Of course that doesn't mean that that balance cant be adjusted over time. That also doesn't mean that new factions cant be added, but that will require heavy back end work that wont see the light of day any time soon.

The simplest way to look at the game's core design is to look at the tier 5 champions

Anivia Karthus Kayle MissFortune Swain Yasuo

These tier 5's support various class combinations, but dont support ALL class combinations. Perhaps that's because the desire is to support those in the future by adding in new tier 5 champions or maybe it was deemed unnecessary. Regardless the factions that are covered are from left to right

glacial/elementalist ; sorcerer/phantom ; knight/noble ; gunner/pirate ; demon/shapeshifter/imperial ; exile/blademaster

keeping this in mind there are many factions that are not covered. I'll list them below.

assassin brawler guardian robot wild yordle glacial ranger void ninja

these categories currently work more or less as a supporting or early game strat for TFT. I could however easily see some of them getting new Tier 5 versions due to the lack of champions in the game.

The item tree is also pretty straight forward.

item 1038 item 1031 item 1011 item 1057 item 1043 item 3070 item 1058 and a golden spatula.

each item grants 20+ that associated stat. if you combine them you get these items

item 3003 item 3153 item 3137 item 3022 item 3110 item 4401 item 3026 item 3124 item 3146 item 3031 item 3109 item 3190 item 3285 item 3046 item 3089 item 3107 item 3085 item 3087 item 3161 item 3131 item 3075 item 3072 item 3748 item 3142 item 3083 item 3172 item 3094 item 3165 item 1051 Yuumi

and a couple of others that don't have an item icon on the boards.

so there isn't really much room for items unless they add a new item into the mix. And that would create at least 9 more items all of which would need to be balanced. Though between you and I i'm all for adding in item 1001 because there are already enough versions to make them varied. Also item 1018 might be fun to see also and they could remove the stupid brawler's glove negatron cloak + spatula vs Spatula + negatron cloak = runaans hurricane. I've never been a fan of overlap like that.

all of that to say - I could only see her being added if she finds a faction that she gels with. I couldn't see her being part of the wild faction. Warwick Rengar Nidalee Gnar Ahri however there isn't a tier 5 assassin or wild champ so the possibility stands for that.

uhh like 90% of the roster isn't in tft from what i've seen.
