RIOT please answer this question - mid game carousels
Why are there mid game carousels in which the loosing players gets hughe advantages? You only need a carousel to start the game. After that everything should be equally random for all players. But with the mid game carousels you give a HUGHE advantage to the first players that get to pick.
It is exactly the same like playing Summoners Rift and the loosing team gets a free Baron Buff. Or the loosing team just gets to pick a free item from the shop. I do not think anybody anytime anywhere would think that is a good option in SR. So why do you do it in TFT?
It really really makes no sense why the mid game carousels just super boost losing players to the level of them winning the game easy.
I am rerolling my gold to find a third Jinx. Meanwhile my losing opponant gets a free third Jinx with a good item on top and from that moment he starts to win every round and my chances of finding my third Jinx just dropped because she was removed from the shared pool. So that first pick is not only helping that specific player, but it is also actively making the game much harder for all the rest of the players. And later in the game that makes a hughe difference because the 4 and 5 gold units are limited and then loosing against the first pick buffed players means you are rock bottom or dead within 2 or 3 round before you get a first pick in return.
It absolutely makes no sense whatsoever to have mid game carousels. Just add monster levels or random orb drops when you level up. Or any other option that is random and equal for all players instead of preferential first pick of the best champions and items for only a few players.
So with all the RNG in the game I truly wonder why you have made those mid game carousels so non random pure high advantage for the first player that gets to pick?
I would love to see if RIOT is able to give an argumented answer. Thank you in advance.
