I don't know if it's just because the game is getting stale (even with new items) or what, but this current patch is just downright boring. I feel like I can't play anything other than shifters, knights or rangers without getting destroyed.
Tell me about it, every time I try to pull off sorcerer's I rarely win, maybe top 5. Only time I have won with them is with 9 sorcerer's. Dragons claw/dragon buff makes going sorcerer's boring, they need nerfs to bring them down to 45% magic resistance.
Elementalist is ok but I don't feel it's power late game and I think it always relies too heavily on sorcerer's. They don't have that much synergy with other classes.
For some reason I always lose when I play blade master, maybe I'm just bad but they seem like a trap to me because I can never pull them off.
Maybe I'm bad and don't know what I'm talking about but it is always the same comps winning when I play.
I definitely agree on the knight meta being a problem. It's funny how they were weak at 55 DR and are now too strong at 65 DR. They probably need to go to 60.
Shifters and Rangers are fine in my opinion.
I just won 1st place in a game as 6 yordles, 2 gunners, 2 knights, 2 phantom, 5 sorcs against a wild shifter dragon comp.
Was losing until I switched my positioning around and silenced the enemy's shyv and sol.
Positioning and item counters OP.
i just play norms so i doubt it matters ive won 5/6 games as wild shifter lol the game i lost i tried building glacial for the mission and got steam rolled
I'm actually having success with a variety of comps, though shifters has always been one of my favourite comps to run to begin with.
Though the thing that does annoy me a little is the sheer amount of assassin players this patch which makes other comps I like such as sorcs hard to run because I can't really think of any good counter other than having an beefy AF team.
