The rank system needs to be changed!

Since RNG is a big factor in this mode, sometimes sht happens and there is nothing you can do about it. The current MMR system made things much worse. I was in Dimond 4, when I win I got 30+ lp but when I lose, I lose 60+ lp. Yesterday I got demoted to platinum 1 so today I was trying to climb back up. I got 1st place twice and 3rd place once and my lp was at 99... Unfortunately, the next game I got 8th place. I lost 66 lp! It felt really really bad. I spent the whole day practicing different builds on my second account, now it means nothing. I don't know how this makes sense. I have played over 100 games now, my MMR should be somewhat close to my actual rank. Even if my MMR is a bit lower than my rank, it still doesn't make any sense losing twice amount of lp when I lose. In comparison, when you lose a 5v5 rank game, even if your MMR is lower than ur actual rank, you will only lose slightly more lp than you win. I don't understand why they made TFT rank this way.

It really needs to be changed.

It takes 2+ first place wins to recover from an 8th place loss.

There are times you dont get any LP from 4th place either.

The system is pretty bad considering the amount of RNG thats baked into every aspect of the game.

If the same rules for demotion that apply on Summoners Rift apply to Tft that means you went on a massive lose streak to drop from Diamond 4 to Platinum 1. On SR, you need to have Platinum 5 MMR to drop from Diamond 5 to Platinum 1. This lower MMR would explain sudowoodo disproportionate gains and losses in LP.

Edit:

Yea, you got promoted and then lost 7 of the next 11 matches at 0 or near 0 LP, which means your MMR was dropping fast. And i'm guessing these weren't small 5th place losses either.
