My 5th game in 2 days this has happened to me. I click accept to join the game and then it just says im already in a game and then eventually gives me an 8th place loss after never even letting me in the game. By what I've read tons of other people are having this problem, and 8th place LOSS cancels out 4 straight wins, I am so frustrated.

I just restart entire pc immediately. I usually log back in and get on just before the 2nd carousel. You start behind for sure, but I have won from that before and get top 4 another 2 or 3 times. So it's not a total waste.
in fact, I usually jump in and do something CRAZY and it kinda gets fun going all in on some stupid shouldn't work thing. Then when it does, you feel awesome
Railios1 votesI had this happen yesterday. I closed all processes that had to do with league than it let me load into the game when i launched the game again. Closing the game and restarting alone did not help. I made it in time for the second minion wave and lost nothing but the first hero choice. Good luck!

When the game does not load and the client just says "game in progress", open up the task manager.
Find the process called 'League of Legends TM client' - end that task, and only that task.
Now you should be able to click 'reconnect' on the client to join the game.
iOverlyManlyMan1 votesGotten this a few times now since the patch. At first I tried to reconnect but it wouldn't let me, so now I just restart my PC immediately and I'm usually in for the first PVE round!
