Zero items from TFT minion rounds.
I received zero items from the first 3 rounds versus the minions. Surely has to be a bug and not RNG right? Please look into this.

this is rng, this is by far the most unbalanced part of tft is that the items you get might be 5 or it might be 0
why the fuck is there going to be ranked when the whole shit is rng that's so fucking unfair. Hope this shit mode gets replaced with nexus blitz. Such a pointless mode, don't get xp dont get mastery points and not able to even control the champs.
Honestly its not right when you get no items at the beginning from the minions and then literally everybody else in the round got 2 or 3 items. I even faced someone with like three completed items when I only had half of one. How are you supposed to win against that?

Sadly in TFT it's worse than DAC.
It's so sad that riot can't even get that done right. Literally everyones biggest issue with DAC was the RNG item system which atleast from what i've seen from streams seems to be even worse in tft because items are insanely fuckin strong and yet they just copy it.
I mean sure you have the draft rounds in between to help out with that a bit but honestly just revert the entire item system. I like dota underlords system, far from perfect but better than this RNG shitfest.
Hope they look into it asap and come up with a better solution.
I hardly ever get items period. Only from the fucking carousel part. Isn't the point of this to get items and make good builds? I always die to people who have more items than me...

I vastly prefer the dota underlords system: get 3 items to choose from after a won minion round, or 1 random after a lost one.
I was struggling 4-th place in a fairly long game. I noticed some people had some sweet items. Rageblade, Bloodthirster, and I was hoping I could get something good to turn the fight in my favor. Neither the Dragon nor the pve prior to the dragon dropped items after I defeated them. Heartbreaking to say the least.
I swear, i will just quit TFT if they don't make each PVE wave to give some part items.

The RNG in general for this gamemode is quite stupid. Riot really needs to rethink their plan before releasing content that doesn't work properly. Good job rito you done f'd up again.
This item RNG is by far the worst part of TFT and was considered one of the worst things about DoTa Autochess... which is why they changed it. For some reason Riot seems to think that less balance is better. Just had a game earlier where I got literally 1 item drop for 5 neutral waves and yet I was expected to beat teams with 4 or more combined items? Made economy management impossible because I was frantically rerolling to try to keep up on hero levels to combat smaller teams than mine that were 3x stronger than me (didn't help that it took 6+ rolls to get a single hero useful in my comp).
I ended up taking useless champs in the carousel just to try to get items. This just further exacerbated my limited team synergy. No amount of skill or strategy can help you when the RNG seems to be designed to screw you over. Riot really needs to look at what other autobattlers are doing and get their shit together to improve this experience. I have now given TFT two days worth of trial and quite frankly I am done with it until they make changes. Underlords is 100x better at this point in time.

That's the only rng element I disagree with. I think everything else can pretty much be worked around based on your knowledge of the game, but its actually unfair when you're only getting items from carosaul while other people are blessed from the rng gods and get items rained down on them from the pve rounds, which absolutely does happen. I think item drop rates should be more or less guaranteed, with the item type still being rng based.
Edit: after reading through the comments I realize that most of you complaining about the overall rng mechanics of this mode are just bad at the game. Spend some time with it and you should be able to see the strategic elements within. You can get top 3 in almost every game, strategically.

Essentially if two players are knowledgeable and have good teams it kinda comes down to who got more items, not who built better or had the better strat..... Ive been through multiple games where i only loose because i get maybe 1 if not zero items from minions.....

Still happening to me and several of the people I play with. I have got lucky enough to get good item rolls 2/10 times but it still was unfair and sort of lame because I was only getting lucky! I didn't have to try because I got good rolls, great items, could save gold. Meanwhile I'm used to the opposite being true. Too much "luck" based to be much fun. Speaking of bugs I need to report the fact that my champ bar/shop won't reroll with the round half the time (not locked)!
Figured it out, if you have synergies already early on you’re prone to get less items. Unmatch for the minion rounds you’ll get more drops
3rd game in a row with no items and ppl i fight already have maybe 1-3 finished items etc pretty annoying sense the long q time is now a thing so i gotta wait 15m minutes to play a game that i'll have no fun in because i just have to sit there with no items maybe 1 finished by the time i can pick a champ etc but after that it'll be me loosing until were at the 3rd overall round honestly i'd say at least get like 2 items idc what they were at this point something though would help it's suffering at this point.
Just played a game where I had 2 giants belts and a neg cloak, enemy had 2 rageblades and a phantom dancer on a single unit.
How do I have 3 raw tank items and they have 3 fully completed attack speed items? Guess who won that fight.

There's is nothing more enjoyable about being played against someone with 4 items to your 1 on your first match.
been down the me and one other guy, dragon fight started. i murdered it in moments, he lost all but one of his champions. he got 2 items. i got none. i was 7 hp at the time to his 87 or something. those 2 items lost me the game. i got him all the way down to 5 hp before he managed to beat me. its pretty bullshit.
Just saying, item drops being randomized to varied amounts isn't too far from getting totally random units. There's a massive difference between Graves and Garen even in the tier 1 units, and Yasuo will end up being a lot more desirable than Karthus. Hell when you consider the mixed pools of units you'll often be dealing with a Fiora vs Sejuani as the best options on different player's boards.
However items here are incredibly powerful and all of them are guaranteed to combine. Units aren't. Items in other Autochess games aren't. The items you get are still random but there should absolutely be a minimum amount, getting 0 items at the beginning should be impossible. I'm ok with people high rolling 2-4 extra components as long as you have a chance to get something that could be a potentially amazing item on your main carries.
