You have managed to take all the thought and gameplay out of this wonderful game. Set 1 was ok, it had some counterplay some decent play. This shit is hope you roll bs 5 cost or specific lux OH YOU DIDN'T TOUGH YOU LOSE... it is trash. It is awful. You nerfed 3star units cause it was trash now it's worse trash. Don't FUCK up set 3 or this is over. It is being compared to hearthstone in levels of "oh well rng wank" and that's exactly what killed that game. What is wrong with you? Comedy that you are releasing units that are mystic and warden AND they level up your stats over time? Stall meta... lolz... All the issues you address are whiney crap ppl don't wanna use counters like forcing a red buff or morellos so they cry about something... every "OP" strat has a counter. You know what doesn't... crystal lux topping off a poison ashe/taric set. You can't plan or build for that ever, just pure bs RNG. Not even 5cost or lux... you can roll down 50gold and never see units cause there is SO MUCH NICHE CRAP. Even when your opponent doesn't build what you are building you can do anything you want but you can't see what you need. It never was like this set 1, you screwed up bad. And what about ranked rewards for TFT? It was supposed to be more than just an Emote.... now in this bullshit RNG hell you've made I bet you give some crazy cool reward.... gross. I really hope you do something. I've seen the ptr updates to items it's crap fixes to minor issues that are not the core problem.

you can roll down 50gold and never see units cause

I have commented on this many times looks like TFT season 2 assigns a card set, so thats the reason you dont see some cards not matter how much gold you spent.

Also the reason you see some cards every time but these are not in your build so we ignore them.

Yep.

Set 2 is a massive step back.

There is more RNG.

There is way more balance issues.

It's way more chaotic.

It's less fun.

The game was always RNG heavy though...

Too much reliance on finding set synergy. To be fair 3* champs aren't as overpowered as they used to be, but it's still important.

I think this game would be better if you could see your player's roster, and then place your pieces in a meaningful way to try and beat them (perhaps in a draft system?). So instead of having a bench of duplicates, you could have a bench of differing champs for different situations. That would slow the game down though, and that's counter to what they're trying to build. Again, not my game mode... I wanted something more cerebral.

Set 1 early-mid good comp: 2-4 knights, 2-4 wilds, Lucian, 3 BM, kenen.

Set 2 early-mid comp: woodlands/druids+LB/neeko, 3 predators, kindred (solo or 2 ranger+3 inferno), zyra, malzahar, veigar(3 mage), tanc sion, 4 warden, 3 shadow.

Set 1 tier 5 solo strong units: Pantheon, Swain, kaissa, kayle.

Set 2 tier 5 solo strong units: amumu, singed, lux, zed, nami, master yi.

Set 1 strong late game comp:

  • 6 brawlers
  • 6 knights, 4 imperial
  • 6 nobles
  • 4 wild, 3 shape, 3 sorc, 2 dragon
  • 3 sorc, 2 dragon, 2 gardian, 4 knights
  • 6 assassins
  • 4 wilds, 3 assassins
  • 4 rangers, 6 glacial
  • 3 elementalist + ...
  • 6 yordle

Set 2 strong late game comp:

  • 6 lights, 2 soulbound
  • 3/6 mage, 4 ocean
  • 6 inferno
  • blender noc
  • Olaf + his sinergies
  • 4 rangers, 4 warden
  • Poison + Singed
  • 6 shadow
  • 3/6 summoner + 3 assassins
  • 4 crystal
  • 4 electric

I think set 2 is better.

So, why do I see a different comp winner each game ? They play mage/ocean because the net still says this is the meta. But if you try mage/ocean you will see this comp is OK now.

Remember when Olaf was meta, everyone forced Olaf and people complained on forum about how op is Olaf. But Riot never nerf Olaf because the stats shows he is OK.

Any comp can be beaten by other comp. This is the maximum balance you can get for this type of game.

If you expect more such like “all comp should be equals”, then you should look for other game.

“set 2 is trash” makes me to say “set 3 will be trash too for you”, the same for set 1.

This game is not for you guys.
