I really don't understand why people cry about TFT

  1. You don't get the frustration from SR where you are queued up with 4 other players
  2. You barelly get any flaming (some nolifers spam pings but personally that happened 2-3 times in 50 games)
  3. No one ints your game. If someone ragequit you have another chance to get top 4
  4. You easily climb, LP gain is huge
  5. No promos (best part)
  6. You lose few LP when placed 5-8
  7. We get patches every week (assasins nerfed/ voli nerfed). Meta changes every week.
  8. Little legends

The RNG factor is necessary because this is a game just like poker. You won't get 1'st place always but being consistent enough you will finish between the best

It's not like poker at all, stop making that comparison please.

In poker you can fold.

In poker you don't have RNG mechanics that can create a literal rift between your advantage and the opponent's AFTER the base RNG element.

And in poker you don't have everyone rushing to ONE current meta that's flat out broken to the rest of the others, and every game is just who can rush the current meta deck the fastest. At least in poker you have different ways to win the game (and if you can't, you can always fold).

Because some people don't like playing a game when that game is completely random and you can just waste 20 minutes of your life doing something random. The only skill you need to have is positioning, other than that it's completely random. I personally played a little bit when it came out but I hated it. It doesn't belong in League. I'd prefer hitting my head against the wall for 40 minutes straight than play TFT.

  1. No1 likes to have RNG deciding your game
  2. Little legends? lmao more like Little CashGrab
  3. NB was supposed to be a perma gamemode, that was actually fun. Instead, we got RNG simulator. Which also has ranked.

So many triggered lads. You completely deny all the good points and focus on the bad aspects only. Let me take a sip while I enjoy TFT and not that toxic BS called NB

The problem with the poker comparisson is that basically every hand in poker is new game. So in the tournament they play hundreds maybe even thousands of ,,games". Literally any poker pro will tell you that in poker it takes hundreds of thousands hands to actually meassure how good the player is and to get accurate statistics. The huge amount is to negate the variance. One game in TFT takes like 30 minutes so good luck with that. TFT is relatively good for climbing the ladder as that still allows you to play hundreds of games(and as you said they made climbing hilariously easy...), but any form of tournament or competitive gaming will be huge joke unless they do something with the RNG. You would need them to make weeks long brackets just to find who is actually best and not have it massively influenced by RNG as it happens in tournaments that are run now on BO2 or BO3 system...

Also you are pretty much assuming big skillgaps between players. Sure if you are really ahead of your opponents you can easily beat them. But if you look at the top of competitive scenes in anything those people will take any fraction of advantage(aerodynamics, better equipment in sports, better PCs and accessories in esports, ICM, GTO and understanding of math in poker etc.) because the skill differences are minimal between top competitors. So even shaving 0.01 sec on your time or on your reaction time makes huge difference. RNG in TFT gives far bigger advantages than just ,,fractions of seconds" and any small advantage in skill makes no difference.

People dont like tft becorse they say that you need luck for items or for champion combo. Everything is random and some people dont like it. I saw some post in reddit they say thats no skill just luck (my englisch is not very good sorry for cancer)
