New theory: One of the devs is dating Olaf

There's certainly stuff I would change about 9.24, but broadly it seems like they tweaked just about everything that was a common complaint (except Glacial) at least a little... and then there's Olaf, who had had the distinction of being the only thing every player complained about in 9.23.

Glacial escaped nerfs and Berserker got a bonus that will only have impact for an attack-speed Berserker, of which Olaf is the only prominent example. Does anyone have an idea of why this makes sense, or should I stick with my theory that Olaf is modeled after the Significant Other of one of the devs?

Olaf is entirely a low elo problem. At higher elos he's pretty much not run at all and even once you get to mid-elo (gold/plat) he pretty much vanishes. As you get higher, people actually learn how to build decent comps, and how to build healing reduction.

From the games I've played I've got my set that can with deal glacials, there are other strong teams that can pull it off and beat it before that comp actually gets set. I mean if that one person gets lucky af in the earlier early-mid stages though I haven't seen much beat it. It's still just the same old olaf with every kid trying to build it. Glacial does not need a nerf, only Olaf does and he needs a big one. His life steal needs dropped to the dirt so that stacking speed won't matter. His ability should only stop disables.

I do think Olaf may be a bit overtuned even after his last Set 1 nerf (his ability attack speed was reduced a little bit I believe), but if you look at the top winning team comps from Iron to Challenger Olaf and the glacial/berserker comp doesn't cut it once you get to mid/high gold rank and they can barely ever hit top 3 once you get into Plat. There are a good amount of comps that squash him.
