Stop supporting companion apps

A significant focus of the most recent 'TFT: Galaxies' update is increase gameplay variance. Based on my experience lately, gameplay variance has drastically decreased with the increased use of companion apps that provide players with stats on the strongest comps.

It punishes those of use who prefer to learn and compete via trial and error and makes the game generally less exciting to play. Everyone is now building the strongest available comp that nobody else happens to be building.

I don't mean to speak for everyone, but I would personally enjoy the game more if companion apps were no longer supported, if I could choose to queue with other players who make decisions based off of experience and instinct, or if the data available in the companion apps was made available for everyone directly in TFT, by default. I'm assuming Riot wouldn't do the latter because it would take a lot of the fun and variance out of the game.

Cheers!

Whether they use a companion app or just scour raw data and implement their own theorycrafting the end result is much the same.... something is almost always going to be "better" or more optimal and winning is the goal so people are going to use that. Even if the use of companion apps was somehow monitored an banned.... people would still develop, share an implement the same top tier strategies its essentially just common sense. You want to win, this method is the best at winning... you're going to use that method.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. IF you can't beat em, join em.
