So recently my climb has come to a halt.
It was quite easy up until gold, then it normalized and now that I'm platinum it has completely halted. The reason for this is coming 5th or 6th makes me lose about as much LP as I gain from coming 1st.
I don't know, maybe my MMR is beyond trash or maybe you're supposed to be so good that you place top 3 on 70% of your games to climb further.
Anyhow, how is it going for you guys?
The climb is horrific. They're trading out balanced matches for faster ones.

I'm getting Bronze and unranked players in G3/4
p3 77lp currently, I am still climbing but it got much stressful now especially when every match there are 3 ppls going volibear/glacial or volibear/brawlers and gunslingers and cursed blade on Voli/Lucian/Tristana. So the games looks same. I was bit lucky last few games but I don't play it nonstop anymore and taking breaks.
i am way to lazy to do it, i barely play 2 games a day haha.
honestly since I've hit gold 1 , I usually place 3rd-5th everygame I've won 12 of about 80 games P4 91 LP atm
It's getting really rough for me, placed second one game and got like 21 LP, placed 6th the next and lost like 30 or so.
