Can someone from riot please explain tft ranked match-making?

Every ranked game I play with (as a bronze player) most of my lobbies are gold, and sometimes plat. I had a game recently where I had 6 plats, 1 gold and me, bronze. I don't understand. Is this done on purpose? and if so, do you guys plan on changing it? Why can't I que with a full bronze/silver lobby like solo que. It just make losing feel so shitty.

Please someone from riot explain or if theres a post somewhere explaining this, someone please share.

Thank you.

Must be a a discrepancy in the amount of people playing in each elo. To be honest, if someone is still bronze, they probably don't play the game that often.

I saw someone who was bronze in my last game

Given how easy it is to climb in TFT, I'm assuming the majority are higher ranked. Like I started in Iron 2 and ended up in gold within launch week. Plat 4 atm, been floating between here and Plat 3 recently. Like your losses at low ELO are so much less penalizing than the wins you get, and from what I hear around diamond/masters that flips. Majority is likely somewhere in the silver-plat range assuming that's correct.

Its probably just having trouble finding 8 bronze players.
