Any Useful Tips For Beginners Like Me?

I just started playing the game today 1/1/2020 and I don't really know much stuff about the game, like what items are good and what items you usually get for a build for specific characters and i'm just asking that someone give me tips on how to farm and win efficiently.

Any tips for me to use or like a basic item build basically .-.

Well first of, Welcome to league of legends.

Im going to be flat up honest with you..... just /mute all while your learning if your one that gets up set if people call you shit all the time.

2nd dont type back, just mute and move on.....i know this sounds like point 1....but again welcome to league of legends.

3, youtube.com proguides, roles and lanemanagment videos wish I had when i first started.

  1. FARM FARM FARM FARM FARM FARM FARm....if you adc/jg/mid/top (if your support you dont typically farm.....but im no typical support player....if they not in lane and its about to die to a minion hit....TAKE THAT SHIT LIKE IT WAS FREE GOLD....CUZ IT IS!"

  2. just enjoy the game. Find 1 or 2 champs that you think look badass in each role and learn them to the best of your ability....dont let someone tell you about the meta.....for something first to be meta.....you must be in the meta..... low elo ranked, anything works with the the right know how.

  3. When you find those champs that look badass.... U.gg or any of those types of sites will give you typical builds. Im not saying their the best, but its a start.

I cant tell you to by A iteam for the simple fact that each match has its own conditions as to why you would buy an iteam.....Your guide says to build magic resist....but you see that have an all AD comp.. its thngs like this.

Start small and grow into it my friend, dont let the assholes get to you.

Basically what Mr Xerath said.

Enjoy the game is the main thing. Try to play as many champions as you can until you find one you really like.

Dont force yourself to learn everything about the game though. There is far too much stuff to learn.

As for item builds, just follow the recommended ones on the shop, those usually give a good idea of what to get.

Mute All. People are rude in this game.

If you play TFT, you can research different Guides online for teams to build but atm TFT is still pretty experimental tbh as Riot just randomly pushed the game mode out a few months ago with no real testing.

For Summoners Rift, don’t ban weak champs. Ban higher playrate/Winrate champs... For instance, Ezreal might be annoying in lane, but overall he is bad in game... Where as Lee Sin is annoying ALL game and overall good all game.

My main 5 bans, when in champ select are: Lee Sin (He’s just so Op right now) Morde (Conq is busted on him) Morgana (She’s just so annoying) Caitlyn (Even more annoying AND unkillable) Ryze (Really annoying but not like Morg annoying. Harder to fight if you are new cause’ he hard pushes melee champs and anyone with less farm abilities.)

My 5 choice picks for basic but fun champs: Neeko. (Her voice in game, her design, her kit... I love it. She motivates me to play league when I’m tilted most because she is so Positive in game. Like seriously, her voice lines make me smile! Also, super easy after only 10-20 games.) Kai’sa. (Something about a woman holding her own in a isolated cold void is pretty hot. Plus she’s strong.) Ahri. (Don’t you trust me? Who doesn’t love Ahri? She’s sassy AND has some of the best skins😏) Miss Fortune. (She’s just badass all around and easy AND strong.) Soraka. (Safe support who does require skill but also still easy. You have to know when to heal, you can’t just spam W and Ult. She’s fun.)

Finding champions you like just takes some time playing around with the free champions. When you find one you like you can just branch out to similar champions. I would suggest staying with easier difficulty ones for a while though. Here is a list of what to play in each role before branching out to try harder ones.

Top - Chogath Darius DrMundo Garen Heimerdinger Illaoi Jax Maokai Mordekaiser Nasus Olaf Poppy Teemo Tryndamere Volibear

Jungle - Amumu Nunu Olaf Rammus Shyvana Vi Trundle Volibear Warwick

Mid - Annie Brand Karthus Lux Malzahar Swain Veigar

ADC - AsheJinx MissFortune Sivir Tristana Twitch

Support - Janna Leona Lulu Morgana Braum Alistar

When trying a new champion in top, mid, or adc, you should go to a training tool game and focus on last hitting minions without buying items. Not purchasing items will make it actually harder than in a game which should make last hitting in game a little easier while you are worried about what your opponent is doing.
