Zed+GA+Redemption just me? Or is it everywhere?

So, is it just me or has the stupid Exodia Zed thing been popping up a lot more lately? I take 2nd place to it a lot and am not sure what the counterplay is to it. A lot of the times I have a ton of hp left when it gets down to 1v1 with it so I actually have had the ability to swing my comp to deal with it if I knew there was an answer but it feels frustratingly consistent and hard to stop. I have to assume there's a straightforward answer to this or Rito wouldn't let the infinite clone army continue to be a thing (especially since there are so many easy ways to stop it from being a thing without crushing zed's viability). Any help would be appreciated.

Oh yeah was losing hard one game had summoners at last place got him in roulette, one in the shop and neeko. Got those two items on and was shocked at how busted it is that the clones get the items.

It was worse before the ga/redem nerf....

What's really dumb is zed clones get the items, and can clone multiple copies (mage zed haha).. At the same time, woodland don't get items copied. And they only get to copy one time and one champ...

The only counterplay is hush on a high as champ(ideally sivir, she can deal with him even after some shadows have been summoned) and manageing to position it so it focuses Zed first. And even then, if you get unlucky on the procs/focus, you might still loose.

Though some strong burst/cc combos can beat it aswell, he simply needs to die befor he can sommon more than 1 shadow. 4warden+4ranger worked as malph+amumu+naut can CC him till the rangers get him down 6 mages manage to win vs ued rather often as a single combo can just pop him and even some shadows hyper nocturn can manage, thoguh if zed has the electro 3 buff it can get problematic... And singed can fuck everything depending on how r%%%%% the AI reacts to him, and poisobn really helps delaying his shadow-madness

But still, zed is aratehr stupid and broken design, the only more broken champ is singed, and he's mostly broken because the AI has no idea on how to deal with constant movement in this mode.

As for why riot lets it happen: As a tier 5 he's unreliable, and he needs lvl 2 and some items or he can easily be dealt with, so he just doesn#t happen often enough to be an easy win strategy. If your lucky enough to get him rolling, you win, but that can be said for other things aswell.

Try Zed, Shojin, Crossbow. Watch all the powered up crossbows turn your team into a budget light! If you can get a warden/mystic/cloud comp to survive that long, all the more hilarious.

Really, the item copying is just kinda ridiculous in general.
