Some ideas about balance
As a game of auto chess, I know you want to add something new to it. But the shared draft phase is the worst design in the game.
- The difference of values between champion and item is so huge. Unless you need a tier 5 champion to achieve the team buff(Kayle for noble, Swain for Imperial), nobody would care about the champion. As a plus point, for any champion with suitable items, a champion with 3 suitable items has nearly 5 times values as much as a champions with no item.
- The difference of values among items are so huge. Bow is the most valuable item in most cases, everyone is rushing for it. Any other item is just a second choice compare to bow. Because everyone needs Rageblade/Phantom Dance
- The picking order is ruining the "winning" players' game experience. Because of the point 1 and 2. "Winning" players could never get useful item from shared draft phase. They can just bet those neutral monsters drop the desired item or they will lose the game finally. Check your data record, I dare to say more than 90% players who lead the early game will finally lose the game just because they have no good item. The winning player is losing the game.
Please nerf Assassin The crit damage for assassins is ridiculous, the only way to counter assassin team is building a 3 items 3 stars Kassadin. I believe, in the design phase, you just want assassins buff have similar damage boost as ranger/blademaster/gunslinger. However, blademaster is terrible. The animation for additional attacks is way to slow and most of blademasters not even need this teambuff. Ranger and gunslinger are fine. But for assassins, the have an additional ability, jump to backline. Most backline will be one shot by a single crit, and frontline cannot stand more than 3 crits. The best way to make an assassination is killing everyone. ------ Assassin's Creed Honestly, I believe the first phase buff should just grant those assassins the ability of jumping to backline. Because a late game team would usually only has around 4 backlines. And there are at least 6 assassins, everyone has the ability to one shot the backline with a single AA. Do not say you can put backline in the front, It is not a solo game. How to against those not assassin players? Also, in the first second of battle, ranged champion will stay in the place, and the melee champion will go forward to attack those not-assassin champions in the assassin team. The frontline backliners will still be in the backline. **Another reason, Assassin should be a AA damage only team. And it should be counter by Yordle team, but the Yordle team will just be slaughtered. Because every assassin has magical damage, even Kha'zix and Rengar. What's more, Katrina, Akali, Evelynn, Pyke should not exist in the assassin team. For Katrina, Akali and Evelynn they have higher AA damage and spell damage than any none-assassin champion with 6 assassins buff, and pyke has one of the best CCs in the game.
