I've been playing TFT since Riot has released the game mode. Now that ranked is out a lot of us are grinding away getting LP. Why when you lose a game I lose 50-66 LP but for a first place win i got 29 LP? How does that even make sense...
Riot when are you going to answer to this thread? you take our money but dont post anything in regards to this. im not as high as these players posting here but seriously i worked hard getting 1~4 and climb to 90 to 95 lp and then one game that I choke i lose over 70 lp.... you guys must be laughing but we are the reason you get paid. a solution would be nice
In plat 3 i gain 37 points for 1st place and lose whooping 85 for 8th. That's just downright unfair.
Game mode is awful and riot doesnt care lmao. Winning a game gets you 25-29 lp then losing makes you lose an upwards of 50.
Agree, I get about 30-35 points for a win and about -35 for the 5th place which is ridiculously much.
yea, this is really stupid. Since RNG is a big factor in this mode, sometimes sht happens and there is nothing you can do about it, and the current MMR system made things much worse. I was in Dimond 4, when I won I got 30+ lp but when I lost, I lost 60+ lp. Yesterday I got demoted to platinum 1 so today I was trying to climb back up. I got 1st place twice and 3rd place once and my lp was at 99... Unfortunately, the next game I got 8th place. I lost 66 lp! It felt really really bad. I spent the whole day practicing different builds on my second account, now it means nothing. This really needs to be changed.
Its Broken Again.
I was climbing, and got to gold 1. apparently my MMR is high becuase im being placed in games with plat 1s and even the odd diamond. I demoted coming 6th place in a game with 6 plat players... how is that fair?
If im playing against players who are an entire division above me then why do i demote?
The next game the mmr didnt change at all, i still had to face 7 plats this time and i got the worst RNG ever and dropped out at 8th. Lost another 44LP. I only gain 44 LP when I come 1st...
If I am playing against people a whole division above me I should be gaining way more points for a 1st place and losing far less for a bottom 2.
This needs to be fixed.
Yeah the LP gains are really screwy. Used to get like 100+ when first in Iron and now get anywhere from 20-30 points in Gold and can still lose twice that from one game.
I too have been playing tft since it came out and today I was g2 80 lp and after some frustrating games I dropped all the way to g4.....because im losing 80lp in 8th and 7th place... but I win and get literaly 29lp....its an rng game this is horseshit im literally fucked now

Could be your MMR. Sometimes MMR is lower than where you are places so you win less and lose more. What bracket are you in?
I'm currently in I think silver 1 and I gain like 80 points for #1. I so lose points for 4th though when I play with my friends who are in Iron. Usually if 4th with them I lose 5 points.
