I took basically every champion that I could from the carousel every round up to krugs and was still unable to 2 star even a single unit. It wasn't until the carousel in Stage 4 that I managed to get my first 2 star. Needless to say I died the round after wolves.
I don't understand how the RNG can be SO bad that this happens. Such a frustrating experience, and one that I just got done experiencing not even 3 or 4 matches earlier.
I just lost in stage 5-5 (round before dragon) when playing nobles and I haven't seen single Leona entire game. Not in store, not in carousel. Snapped Kayle from 3rd carousel but Leona was nowhere. Not even any other player had her.
But well wasn't I lucky though - I got t3 Lucian and t3 Fiora. The only problem is that I was awarded by 5 items total from which I wasn't able to complete any offensive item besides SoS after I took tear from 4th carousel.
At least I got to top four. Funny situation, Fiora got de-starred from t3 to t0 in less than 1 second after tristana swapped target on her. Really enjoyed. But well at least I got to fight. The volibear glacials comp just perma stunned my whole team for entire match.
EDIT: lost round before 4th carousel, again playing nobles not a single Kayle. But the guy who knocked me out had t2 swain and one more at bench lol. I don't think there is more powerful unit than t2 Swain. Brutal tankyness and damage and healing with just giant belt on him.
I had a game today where I got NO ITEMS in the minion rounds. Since Riot confirmed bad luck protection for items (you have a better chance of getting items, the fewer you get), I'm thinking okay, I just have to stall the early game and krugs should give me 2 ish items. Kill krugs, I get a giants belt. Now I'm thinking, okay well I can't really win, so I'll get first pick in the carousel. The carousel comes around, there are no recurve bows, so I took a chain vest because I had a rod from the initial carousel. I'm pretty much just throwing in tanky units and hoping to kill a few enemy units to stop the bleeding. I make it to wolves. Wolves drop TWO GIANTS BELTS.
I make it to top 5, I fight a blade master comp with level 2 kayle with 3 items, yasuo with 3 items, and aatrox with 2 items.

Buying champions at random is a terrible strategy. It drains your gold so that you don't gain income, and you are likely to skip over stuff you thought you didn't need and then find them later on, or miss out on stuff because you can't afford it.
A better strategy is to go into the early rounds with a plan, pick units that you need for that strategy, and if you haven't been getting the champs you need by the time you finish krugs, start doing refreshes and buying any 1-cost champions. This pretty much guarantees having 1-2 Silvers going into the next round if not more, and what you get can indicate which way you should go with your strategy, whether that's to continue on the path you're on or completely shift in a different direction.
Edit #1: As for what you have on the board right now, I'd love that start. I would dump the Kassadins, Shens, Blitzcrank, and Warwick, and re-roll for rangers, nobles, glacials after the Krug round.
Edit #2: Also your positioning there is god-awful. Your units should be positioned on the right side to kill off the first Krug before the other two arrive, which increases your chances of killing multiple Krugs. As you're set up now you probably kill at most 1 Krug.
Well, just had a game where i got a voli befor the 3ed start creeps, and a second one 2 rounds later. I finished the game some time after raptors with voli still on lvl 1 beeing knocked out by a dude with a lvl 3 voli...
you have 17 gold. use it on rerolls. if you're complaining that you cant make a 2 star unit when you havent spent your gold, i have zero sympathy for you.
also your bench, field, and positioning are laughably bad. like wtf are you even going for? sell blitz, sell kassadins, sell warwick, thats 5 more gold to spend on rerolls too.
