TFT IS RNG but ARAM isn't hahahahah! Okay riot... ARAM is RNG and deserves a ranked mode...I don't see the big deal here.

saying tft shouldn't have ranked is like saying there shouldn't be competitive card games. TFT is essentially just a deck building game.

The game is competitive, even as card games are. What are you talking about?

Ranked is inappropriate to the TFT game mode. The whole ranked system, as adapted from ranked for LoL, is unsuitable for TFT. (I'll predict that this will be changed in the next year or so...)

Besides, the game is still really buggy.

I feel like the game benefits from people playing with other people at their experience level...The hard ranking reset kinda messed that all up during the beginning of Set II since Plat, Diamond, and Master players all had to rank through Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold...to get to where their experience places them, which just frustrates new or inexperienced players who get stomped on. However, I get so bored of normal mode, ranked is more challenging and makes me better at the game.

There is normal MMR in TFT already. (There has been since the beginning.)

And if what you say is true (about Ranked MMR having been reset), then Normal will be the actual indicator of ability at the moment anyway.

Hmm I didn't know there was MMR in Normal. I still think ranked is needed though since I'm sure a lot of people use normal as a playground or testing zone before getting serious in ranked. Also the ranking up and grinding is what makes it fun for me.

I think that the idea of "Ranked" implies a level of seriousness beyond what is warranted; TFT has a more casual style and feel to it.

Do you see a conflict between your two statements? "Getting serious in ranked" vs "makes it fun for me".

If there is "Ranked", then there should also be a "training tool", as there is for LoL. (There won't be a training tool; the ranked system implies a level of inappropriate professionalism.)

Ranked ARAM would be literally unplayable so there is no point of it. Even normal ARAM is nothing more than the constant reroll and dodge of ARAM-only accounts until they can play their cancer champion. Imgaine it in ranked. You wouldn't be able to find a game in a whole day.
