LP Loss in TFT when in top 3

I got third place twice in a row, got demoted and then my second third place win i lost two LP. Is anyone else experiencing this? Would really love some insight on this!

Pretty sure it has to do w/ who you are matched against. Finish 3rd place when you are gold vs a bunch of silver/bronze you will lose lp. Same as you will gain a TON if you come in the top if you are say silver facing a bunch of gold w a plat mixed in. Could be wrong but seems to make sense from what I have experienced.

Never happened to me. I think either your mmr is low, or you're playing with friends that are low and it's messing with your mmr.

Don't queue with your friends in ranked. It messes up the whole MMR and match making.
