I know why Omnistone fails
I know it's TFT area,but I don't know how to post it in LOL area.Anyway, this is a serious issue. The key idea for Omnistone is to let players use every runes instead of using best runes for champions,and compensate in two ways:
- cd of runes 2.power of runes(Dark harvest) Lets talk about why it fails(2 works not so bad,but 1 is different)
- cd of runes a. for special runes Imaging two summoners,A choose grasp of the undying, B choose Ominstone but Ominstone only choose grasp of the undying,they both keep fighting,A use grasp of the undying every 4 seconds,B use grasp of the undying every 4 seconds plus Ominstone's cd, so unfair,isn't it?The same thing apply for Fleet Footwork,Conquers and Glacial Augment(Glacial Augment is slightly different,A can use it for every opponent during Glacial Augment's cooldown,B can only use it for one opponent during Ominstone's cd) b. bilinear system Runes power can be estimated as: Runes power for a single time/ its cd. This results two problems (1). for most of runes cd is fixed for level, so it grows as a linear system, but Ominstone grows in two sides, making it hard to balance (2).for ranged and melee using specific runes(Conquers,grasp of the undying and Fleet Footwork),these runes are hard to use for melee,but riot already nurf ranged by nurfing power for a single time,but ranged champions use Ominstone for these runes,they are nurfed in two ways:in power for a single time and Ominstone's cd ,how unfortunate! In fact,Ominstone's cd should be based on runes it use,say,60% of its original cd,and design specific cd for runes those don't have cd concept.
