It's just one of the many RNG factors in a game called "tactics". This really should tell you something.
They really need to start folks in the center of the carousel.. then the person who gets unlocked first might have a chance to get what they want/need. Nothing like being in last place and still getting boned because of the craptastic champ rotation.. Oh well.. Definitely ready for ranked. Champs still randomly stop fighting for no reason. 1-5 gold dropping over an item is just tilting. Carousel still being a bit wonky.. It is still a fun mode imo, just has a lot of issues to be worked on yet.
It shouldn't be a carousel at all. They should be standing still in a line, and you just run up to the one you want when you get released.

That is the thing... Riot knows that if they did not add RNG to the game it would truly be tactical and all the bad players would not have a chance at winning. Thus what we see in League right now with the removal of any tactical or strategic skill to get a short-term boost in revenue while chasing off your good players.
Unpopular opinion: The Carousel is one of the best parts of TFT, I actually think it's great to finish out your comp/go for items. As guy that played autochess on release, this feels much better than just hoping for the right rolls.
even beter, hide all champions in a chest and let that spin around , no one knows what he or she is picking, given an irrational company named rioat games situated in california, they wouuld keep such an irrational carrousel anyhow, might as well make it more fair.
IDK the opposite of this is some last place scrub, in this case you, ends up getting that Kayle and making an epic comeback which of course does happen. Then the guy who thought for sure he would place gets to see failure rewarded. Theres two sides to every coin (scenario) in TFT. You either luck out early or luck out late. Either way can end up resulting in a 1-4 placement. Just the nature of the TFT beast.
But actually you weren't released first. Rito is releasing two ppls at the same time as that is more exciting and strategic. Apparently.
