Teamfight Tactics needs to be round robin when picking opponents

Just as the title says, this game mode needs to be round robin for opponent selection or have much improved opponent selection parameters. Being forced to play the same person 3 times consecutively while you're losing will ensure that you're going to continue losing more times than not. it doesn't make any sense. On the other hand, if you're winning and you play the same person 3 times in a row after beating them, you're going to continue to snowball. It just doesn't make any sense. Maybe round robin wouldn't be the answer because of how many people are in the game, but they at LEAST need to add some parameters when it comes to opponent selection. There's no feeling like being placed against a team that hard counters your 3 times in a row and losing the game in 5th or 6th, when you could have easily come in 3rd or 4th.

This has been complained about so much, I am not sure why it has not been addressed yet. It really shouldn't be hard. The worst in when you get down to the final 3. I had a match where all final 3 had like 50+ I got the harder guy 4 times in a row and we each won 2 of the 4 games, but I only fought his ghost while he fought the easier guy all 4 times and won. Because I fought the ghost I dropped down to 30 winning 2/4 and he was still full. So we then go on to battle 5 more games, and I win 3/5, but because he had the easy wins he had more life and still won the game.

If they had just had it switch who was having to fight the ghost, then he would have been taken down, and the ending would not have been so frustrating.

Please fix.

I would say that the strategic element of setting up your team for the match as a whole without knowing who you'll fight is better than the less strategic element of doing that for each individual round knowing exactly who you'll fight.

I could support not fighting the exact same enemy a bunch of times in a row, but I won't support a system that allows players to know who they're fighting next.

In the last few rounds there are going to be rematches and ghost army shenanigans. It's unavoidable. But they can improve the matching logic to favor the least healthy person not getting slammed by the top guy 3x in a row while the dudes in the middle faff around with ghost armies instead of fighting each other. It's just a little too random right now. It would be helpful if Rito was less protective of their RNG vision for the game and introduced a little more reliability here.
