Bronze support looking for high elo ADC to duo with

I've never been able to break out of bronze, so people assume I'm not good at the game, and I assume the same about myself. But whenever I play with my high elo friend (plat) I seem to do very well, much better than I do in Bronze ranked games. And I'm not quite getting carried either, I end most of my games with As, so I would like to try to duo with a higher ranking ADC to see if it changes anything. I'm looking to use the opportunity in ranked to learn, not get carried (would be lying if i didnt say getting a little boost wouldn't be a plus though). Any help is much appreciated!
