Mentor me

I've been playing for a year and I managed to get to Gold in my first season, but now I have dropped back down to Silver. Mechanically, I think I am further along than most people that have been playing as long as me. I think I was able to advance to Gold level play quickly because I spent most of my time playing with a Gold level player. Now that I am stuck playing with the people around my skill level, I am progressing but a lot slower than I was before. I came on here to see if there was any Plat or Diamond players that would like to make a friend, as well as mentor a lower level player during the preseason. At this point in time, you aren't losing time that you could be using to gain LP or climb, so I figure that you are gaining more then you will lose. Perks of mentoring me are a friendship, and possibly a duo queue once I progress enough. I will work hard and I will listen to advice. I am willing to fill any position and play any champion. I don't exactly prefer support, but I could play that. I really really want to learn from a plat+ level player, but if no one else responds, I am willing to learn from a High gold player.
