LF Positive, Serious Players for New Team (Bronze)

My friend's been talking about starting up a team since he got me started on this game last year, but it's never really gotten that close to coming to fruition. I thought, then, that I might as well take matters into my own hands.

I'm a somewhat new player who, yes, is a B5 currently, but has went so far as to take over a month off of ranked simply to practice, and has every intention of reaching silver at some point in the near future. I feel, though, that solo queue was holding me back in a sense because this is a team game, and all I hear about climbing out of the basement in ranked stresses that it's mostly an individual achievement.

You can try to coach your teams in-game through the chat, but people are just as likely to respond with a "**** you. don't tell me what to do" as they are to actually follow your advice. All I want is to play with a group of people who are positive players, serious about improving, and show enough promise for me to believe that we can grow together and become more than our current ELO.

I've tried looking for higher ELO players to help me along, but my experiences with that have left me jaded. I honestly feel I get more out of playing with others whose skill-level is roundabouts the same as mine, as it doesn't allow much room for those "I'm so much better than these idiots" thoughts to creep in. It's why I have the most fun whenever I play with my friends. We'll all make our mistakes and call one another out on them, but we don't really ever get that holier-than-thou attitude that can ruin things in a hurry.

Honestly, I don't expect anyone to be jumping at the bit to join me; however, I thought I might as well give it a shot. In case you were wondering, I play mainly top and that is the position I would like to fill on the team. That being said, I'd also be willing to dedicate myself further to supporting and do that. Jungle, mid, and ADC are best left to someone else.
