so much hate just because of rank. its rather unfortunate that most players these days look at rank and judge solely off of elo when coaching is more than mechanical ability to play the game. good minds can be trapped because they are not mechanical players, or don't have the time any longer to climb.
Atemmata, if you are a serious person about coaching and willing to put in the work i don't care much about your rank. ill just interview you to make sure you know what you are doing, if you can get over me being a b3 myself and accept a superior who is bronze ;P .
I know people expect to be coached by those above them 90% of the time, people want to take in information from people who have proven themselves, and players usually look first to mechanical outplay potential. when dealing with coaching there are 3 aspects to understand however. 1- coaching is teaching, and it is about how well you transfer game knowledge to be absorbed. 2- coaching from bronze to gold is not reliant about mechanical teaching. in fact it mostly comes from knowing what to do in a given moment, and the decision process or base game knowledge. this means even low elo bronze can help if they are dedicated to learning and doing research to present to their team. and 3, every coach should know their limits. if i am a support main, understand jungle and adc, but do not know top, i should not teach top lane more than the basics up to a bronze 1 level due to the general knowledge for trading with opponents.
lastly for those who think bronze should not teach, i myself have taught many players, some from lvl 5 into silver, many of my students have peaked at gold, and yet im bronze 3. because personal rank is not everything to a coach, instead i currently coach 3 teams and manage a fourth. the majority of those players are above me in rank. And with that success of coaching i have begun to build a community, and Organization we call Desperado Esports.
So if you are a serious coach, looking to be a staff member on a team, or even a serious player, add me in game and let me know.
