Idea For Twisted Treeline: Make Defeated Monsters Spawn As Powerful Lane-Minions
I've been playing a bit of HotS, where Mercenaries are a core part of the gameplay. I've always thought that TT needed some other mechanics to differentiate it from SR; something to make it more than just SR-lite. Maybe a similar mechanic to Mercs would be neat on TT!
It would be interesting if Wraiths and their friends spawned as powerful Super-Minions that helped you take down more fortified towers, with each having some kind of mechanic for the defending team to play around. (For example, Wraiths making that lane 400% faster so someone would have to run there quick and push it back; Golems protecting their wave with a protective dome that nullified ranged attacks from the outside, or other similar mechanics.)
Making tower-pushing in TT require taking objectives could give it a nice, different pacing from SR, I think. Maybe "Jungling" in TT should be a team-wide effort. The theme of summoning the undead to aid you also seems like a great thematic fit for the Shadow Isles.
