I REALLY love the idea of something big happening to a champion and giving it a new base model, having the old model become a skin. It really gives weight to events happening in the lore when you have something tangible like that go along with it!

I really hope you see it as well received internally. PLEASE do more stuff like this in the future!!!

Just posting to say that I second that motion. Personally I'd like to see such a new story for:

Zaun, in general, city and champions. Its character seem to come from very different horizons, and the city itself lacks identity. Perhaps an event "Zaun overhaul + Piltover/Zaun fight".
Demacia and Noxus at some point.
Some evolution to Frejlord and Shurima (what happens afterward?)
Bandle City (Yordles are little furry creature, female yorldes are blue. They like piltover, hate Zaun and? Sometimes play with balloons until Veigar ruins it for fun?)

This will forever be remembered as the turning point for Lore in League of Legends I do hope we just upgrade from here

Imagine if they did a mini event like this for new champs?

I loved how they disabled Gangplank, and how this event was handled. However, I must say, please if you are going to disable a champion Riot, just...PLEASE don't disable them for more than 3 days.

I definitely love the idea, but honestly, not if ends up the same as the new GP base. Seriously, I'm infinitely glad I invested in Special Forces GP, just so I don't have to see it.
