[SUGGESTION/SOLUTION] ARAM 'Random' Selection
Please **UPVOTE **if you like this suggestion/solution to the current ARAM champion select.
As many of you remember, there was a lot of suggestion back in the day for a TRUE random champion select in ARAM, rather than the current system that chooses a random champion from only your currently owned champions!
Well Riot, I have a proposition for you, and I think it'll help boost sales! And developers aren't cheap! So this could be a win-win for players and the company, please hear me out.
You probably saw it coming, it would be AWESOME if we could have a truly random experience. Why?
- Some players create smurf accounts ONLY unlocking the champions they want, so they are more likely to play ARAM with champions they are better with! This is not cool. SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM!!! FINALLY!!!
- One of the points of ARAM is to play outside of your comfort zone. Well, let us try champions we don't even know yet! I'd love that.
- YOU CAN INCREASE SALES! If the player does NOT yet own the champion, tell them! At the end of the game, ask "Did you like this Champion? Own him now!" Or maybe you only do that for victories, I don't know Riot, you figure the details out.
- Maybe even have direct champ gifting for #3 if that's possible, but this may include backlash from the "how dare you try to earn money, it's not like you're a company with expenses!" crowd.
Hey while I have everyone here, Riot should also consider some sort of limitation on ARAM in the algorithm. Okay so I'd be cool w/ a completely random champion select (or 'random' since there's no truly random algorithm), but may also add a limit on the gap between poke champs per team? If one team owns four poke champions, make sure the other team owns at least 3, for example. I hate being on a team of all bruisers when I'm against nid, tf, fiddle, ziggs, and xer ):
But hey, guys, what do you think? Like? Upvote! Throw in your own suggestions. If this gets zero upvotes then clearly the community doesn't want it, otherwise show Riot that this is still something the community wants.
Thanks!
