New Game Mode Idea: Faction vs Factoin

Not sure if somebody thought of this already:

The idea is to pit one faction against another faction in a normal 5v5 game on Summoner's rift. Players would queue up and each team would be given a random faction. For instance, blue team is given Noxus. Blue team can only then select champions who are loyal to Noxus.

Icon rewards can be given out based on lore and battles. Let's say a Demacian team beats a Noxus team. Maybe Riot could design an icon for that event; and so on.

that could be cool as long as buffs or bonuses made each faction at the same level.. at the moment some would never be chosen while others would destroy the competition

THE FRELJORD!!!! Ahem. This is a cool idea but yeah like the other commenter said, it might be difficult getting the factions equal. Likewise, I think it might be hard for some champions who don't necessarily have a faction or who don't have a large enough pool of champions to be picked. Otherwise it would always be Noxus vs Demacia. But yeah this would be so cool :P
