Nemesis Draft: Read before playing.

Riot explains the concept of it here --> http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/features/meet-your-nemesis-draft

I am here to explain the do's and don'ts of picks . My last two games were horrible because my team didn't know how to pick. Our team was Braum Blitzcrank Janna Sion Soraka vs Elise Kalista Alistar Yorick Fizz . I was really upset about Fizz, Kalista, and Alistar since my team literally gave them a full META comp with the #1 Kiter in the game with her peeling companion.. His reasoning was that people suck at Kalista..... Kalista went 12/3/6 and we had no ADC cause Janna went support.

**Bad Picks: **

  1. Peeling Tanks are a no no especially tanks like Alistar, Sejuani, Maokai, Dr.Mundo, Malphite. Regardless of team comp these tanks fit perfectly into any comp, they provide utility, damage and are very tanky.

  2. LEE SIN! Yes I have seen it happen. NO LEE SIN I REPEAT!

  3. Do not give the enemy team an ADC of any kind. The reason I say this is because ADC's are the most powerful member on a team since they can deal high dmg from the back line, kite really well ( if you can ), farm extremely well and follow up relatively easily without getting in range to be attacked. . For this reason they counter a lot of melee champions so it's best to avoid ADC's at all costs.

  4. Avoid bruisers like Darius, Irelia, Xin Zhao, Trundle; champs like this are always useful not matter the situation, avoid them.

  5. Just to name a few champs you shouldn't pick for the enemy which you may think are bad/useless. Janna, Galio, Cho'gath and Poppy.

Good Picks:

  1. Champions people mightn't know how to play well ( not saying that the champ is bad), Yorick, Zac, Urgot, Singed, Nunu, Zed(Kappa), Evelynn ( Risky because she is really powerful if fed.)

  2. Play to your strengths and pick champs that your team counters. For example if you have a tanky team avoid giving them armour/health shredding champions or champions with kiting potential. If you team is mobile give them an immobile team like Yorick, Nunu, Evelynn, Braum and Teemo ( Not the best example ).

Anivia is a huge OP champ if you know how to use her, but I would say she's a pretty safe pick for nemesis draft simply because most people won't know how to manage her mana, combos, or passive.

Never underestimate Urgot, someone gave me an Urgot last match proceeded to dominate them. They said GG as we logged on, got first blood then went 9/0 entire game.

Raped Lee sin when he tried to gank, Murdered their Star Champion Kassadin, who by then went 6/0.

Urgot is a power house.

If you give the enemy any ranged champions whatsoever; you can choose Urgot, Zilean, Janna or whoever; you are asking to lose. They will turn adc and kite your sobbing team to oblivion. I can't think of any ranged champion that isn't capable of doing this with no mobile champs or ranged ADC to contend with.

Yea i was even duo queued with a friend and was like "Give them TF, or like Xerath, people are bad at those." I told him to shut the fuck up and not to mention any more names in chat or else we would lose. We played a game on the PBE (where zilean has his changes) and he gave the other team Zilean... I swear i'm never playing a game with him again.

When there are 5 people on the other team you should just fucking assume that between all 5 of them they can play every champ in the game. Even if they can't, you have to assume they are probably better than y our team mates...don't' give them "hard" champions...champions that are hard to play are good. I swear someone thought it was a good idea to put a draven on the other team. W.T.F. Rants.

Tbh picking champs because people may be bad at them probably only a good idea if you're like bronze or silver. Otherwise you're better off just giving them a full melee comp of the lowest scaling champions you can give them.

You either give them zero adcs, or 5 adcs. Just make sure the whole team is on board with it, because any other number will make you hate life.

Somebody picked sej for our team, so I traded for her. 30 minutes later, I'm 13/2 and the Nexus is dead. GG ap sej even if there is no dfg.
