The game mode I am suggesting, and yes I am suggesting a new game mode, makes every skill shot in the game, interesting.

Every skill shot would randomly choose one of a few preset types of patterns. They could also have random missile speeds.

Just a few possibilities. (oval/circle on bottom right means it disappears momentarily)

Champions without skill shots would be banned, but there would be an exclusive free roster of skillshot heavy champs e.g. Ezreal

I hope there's more unorthodox skill shots in the future. Like Diana's. It's not that different, yet its wholly unique to Diana and gives her some identity.

The ones where it disappears could be similar to Zigg's Q, where you still see it, but it doesn't damage things in that area.
