Ranked Dominion?

I've been playing dominion a lot recently because I can barely get any win on pvp so I switched to dominion. It is a really fun game mode and it really puzzles me that they do not have ranked dominion, I would want it to exist so that we dont just play on sr for ranked games and have something different. Also I wreck people on Dominion so it would be nice to see that all the games i played on dominion isnt just for fun but preparing me for a greater challenge :D. Lets stop that barrier and bring ranked Dominion!

Dominion has a really, really small playerbase. It's also a pain to balance for, apparently, and Riot doesn't want to split the playerbase, so it's unlikely.

I do miss it, though.

Their could be a number of reasons.

If we made a ranked Q for Dominion, Riot would have to maintain the Q on their servers, That means taking up more computational resources. And that's certainly not worth if Normals isn't even that popular.

It's game length probably hinders it's promotionally. It's not worth building a pro scene around a game that only last's 15 minutes.

I would argue that Dominion best Serves as a mini Game. And the Best way to promote it as a mini game is to offer, achievements, Banners, and other perks to show off for those game modes. Like they did with the Champion mastery. Even in the Pro Scene, it can act like a mini game. Promote it in your mid season invitational. Offer side honors to pro teams for playing these smaller tournaments.
