Arams a lot longer

I remember when riot first released Aram, and it was designed to be a fast and fun game mode to play when you don't have time to play a normal match of SR. But for some reason, now i'm seeing a lot of Arams run close to 40 minutes, which is near the average for a match of SR. Arams aren't short enough to enjoy a quick match or two before work anymore, as now it's more feasible to get a faster game out of playing SR.

Is there any chance to find a way to make Arams shorter for those who don't have the time to play?

Sorry, but ARAMs that run 40 minutes are really rare, and you're entirely wrong about SR being faster. Look at my match history - I play ARAM pretty much exclusively, and the average is just above 20mins.

ARAM still averages 15-25 minutes. 30 is long/close, and 40 is legendarily long. Not sure how you're seeing them go that long. It's super rare.

Weird, recently i had to wait close to 40 minutes for my friends to finish their aram so that we could do SR. Just before the match I played just now I had to wait 39-40 minutes for my gf to finish her match. And just got done with a 35 minute aram.
