Where do minions come from?

I've seen enough H to know where this is going...

Before the BS Retcon, minions were supposedly created by Nexus magic. There were rumours that the minions were sentient, manufactured from corpses. I would even take it a step further and say that the minions were former criminals who were executed by Fiddlesticks, the League's executioner.

I can think of some ways to stop the minions. Possibly such as using the power of the council to close off the doors that allowed them to spawn. Other possibilities include having Veigar use his Dark Matter and infinite scaling to help, as well as giving Sion a ravenous Hydra ad letting Thresh farm souls along with Nasus. Malzahar would also be good here as his E wouldn't be limited by the League so the E would spread and Cho'Gath could grow large as hell. Summoner Spell Smite would also have no Cooldown. Shyvana's part dragon and was raised by dragons so she could have the real dragons kill the fake ones. Hmm. If all else fails they could unleash other things on them such as Renekton's Rage and Azir's Sand Soldiers which will fight forever. They could also probably release Xerath from his prison and use his raw energy or take the risk of asking for aid from The Shadow Isles since everyone from their is basically immortal and in the next Harrowing they could ask that they come for the minions. If Sivir W worked outside of the fields then you could slowly kill every minion that way.
