Does Riot do a "pre check" of how a new champion will be in other modes?

Just curious. Kalista is somehow fine, love to pick a tank when she is in the team. And it's not hard to counter play, fair. Azir is bugged and no fix. Can poke and basically do the whole fight from 500 miles away what is too much in a short map like the Crystal Scar IMO Now a new champion that seems to have huge mobility [and untargetable?] . Wonder how is she going to be in Dominion

Riot does not consider any other map/mode when releasing new champions, reworking existing champions, adding new items, modifying existing items, or removing existing items.

"IF IT AIN'T SUMMONER'S RIFT, IT DOES NOT MERIT CONSIDERATION." - this has been Riot's mantra since they unofficially moved to their "LOL E*$PORT$** LOL"* business model. And it's not likely to change while the current "leadership" is on the payroll.

The new champs mobility is heavily gated in the fact that she has to setup her warp points before hand and they can be easily destroyed by the opposing team.

Pretty sure they don't. Honestly, I feel like the designs are moving more toward very specific enforced SR meta which may be really OP in the other maps but they don't really consider or feel it an issue. Eventually, we tend to get major outliers nerfed with map specific balancing, but that's about it.
