Why do people at low levels don't know that draft is pick order?

They play blind then carry over the "call order" aspect into draft. Then when someone remarks them, informing them that the rule in draft is pick order over call order.

It's fine to say lane pref, but when you are below someone you don't say x lane is mine, yet they don't want to understand or want to take a clue.

Oh, you are hurting my feelings because I want x lane but you won't let me have it blah blah and proceed to act as if they know it all.

Well anyway, I hope more lower leveled players realize the rules of draft. I found out by watching bjerg's stream.

I guess not a lot of newer players or low leveled players watch youtube matches or streams

Because the "rule" is like two Red posts in a really really old (therefore possibly out-dated) thread, and one of those posts is "we won't enforce this rule."

I mean, I genuinely did see a marked improvement when they finally took a stance, because speaking for myself at least the problem with pick order was that it only works if everyone respects it - you respecting it one game then getting screwed the next doesn't work. But anyway my point is it's not like really a rule, and how should low level players know it, because they certainly aren't reading ancient forum archives.

And tons of players regardless of level/experience don't care at all for watching other people play so that isn't the answer.

They know, they're just amazingly good at mid/top so if you let them play it they will carry (feed).
