why am i penalized for dodging in champ select because of someone trolling

i would never dodge in champ select for any other reason than because someone has picked a troll pick or is taking a lane from someone that was before them and making the game pretty much a guaranteed loss that being said why am i charged the LP that i worked my ass off for just to get out of a situation that is already a loss me dodging doesn't really effect anyone else in the game and for the most part it helps them so why am i forced to give up LP to get out of this i find it incredibly ridiculous i can understand making me wait for some time before i can q up again however taking lp and making me wait that is just retarded i shouldn't have to suffer because someone else is trying to make the ranked game a loss

You aren't penalized for "dodging because of trolls", you're penalized for dodging. There's no reason to add some kind of qualifier to it as if these are two different things, they are not.

But yeah they should personally monitor champ select in every one of the millions of games that happens every day because that's fucking brilliant and definitely worth their time.

not everyone who dodges is due to trolls and theres no way to distinguish and no one gives enough fucks anyway give any loophole and incentive to leave a lobby or game and it will be abused, I guarantee it

League is a game overun by people who dont give enough fucks cuz people who give too much are absolutely powerless enjoy your stay

Could they implement a voting system? If a player is trolling allow the other 4 players to vote. If a majority votes yes to kick the individual then the troll will be kicked, loose some lp and have to wait, and everyone else would just re-queue.

the reason there is a penalty is because if there wasn't, people could easily abuse the dodging system, wasting people's time. Let's say you're last pick and you're forced to fill, you get stuck with support or jungle and u hate those roles so you dodge. Basically, people can dodge whenever they don't get the role they desire, which would lead to a HUGE amount of dodges and a lot of wasted time.

In season 2 the amount of dodges was DISGUSTING because the penalty was laughable. Even just yesterday I went into queue and there were SIX dodges...........that is ALREADY horrible. Any more and I would just stop playing.
