Normal Blind Pick

Literally every game I played yesterday and today, there was a vote to surrender. The most recent one just now, we were winning by 3 turret and 24-17, top laner calls for a vote but failed and d/c, causing us to lose.

The sad part is, majority of the people agrees to just surrender rather than playing an awesome game where they make an epic comeback. If there was a feature to simulate a game and reports the outcome in percentage with which side will win, I think people will just take the loss and not even play it out.

I've tried normal draft pick and god damn, there are so many new players playing that mode.

Is this what gamers have evolved into? Either victory gets handed to them, or take the loss and play another game and hope for an easy win? Where the hell do I look for players that are competent and never give up?

Really you find Draft has so many new players? You need to own at least 6 champions (plus the 10 free rotation) to even be allowed to play Draft. I guess it depends though, I started blinds and got my mmr up then started Draft around level 15 and everyone seems to not be new (although some are new to a role, and others don't understand that Draft means you should be willing to play any role and not go "mid or afk"), but that could be because I got my mmr up in blinds. Regardless, I've had a lot of long Games lately, so maybe it's just luck. Some people may not intend to play for over 35 min, stuff comes up in real life and since it's not ranked? Or they're just not having fun in that game. I wish some of the games I've won via surrenders weren't though, because I find it hard to make calls to close out a game since I have so little experience at it (it seems I can carry enough to keep in a close game but ultimately always lose close Games and all my wins ate just stomps).
