Temporary Game Modes and URF

Okay, so ever since Urf was removed, there have been people constantly asking for it back. Although I loved Urf more than any other mode, I made a promise to myself to never ask Riot for it back. Well, after watching some gameplays on YouTube, I broke that rule and posted on the boards. I'm still curious what the arguments against brining urf back are. The way I see it, Urf being out would have no negative effect, and the people who enjoyed it would be able to play it again, but every forum post about Urf mode has limited exposure and usually negative votes. So I guess my question is this: **What are the arguments against bringing Urf back? Just trying to understand the other side of the argument. **

I think the argument against it is that it doesn't have enough people behind it to sustain a queue. As a result, it means either very long time sitting in queue or matches without good matchmaking, which is heavily skewed towards one team. I'm sure there would be a lot of people playing the queue even after the first couple weeks, but sustaining a queue so that people have an enjoyable experience takes a heck of a lot of players. Think of the 10 players per match around the same MMR in a single region who decide to play the game at around the same time. Unless you hit a breaking point in people using the queue 24/7, it leads to a poor experience.

I want URF mode back as well. But I don't think it can handle it's own permanent queue. Maybe bring it back for a weekend every 2 weeks or something? That would keep enough interest in the queue to avoid the above problem.
