New featured game mode idea: Rise/revenge of the jungle!
So basically this idea is pretty much based off of the bug that happened with the new Summoner's Rift map on the PBE where basically the jungle camps would be placed in various and random locations all across the map (i.e. the dragon, wraiths and golems in the mid lane, wolves in the top lane, purple team base and a bottom lane jungle brush, lizards in the blue team base, etc.) and it was all crazy like that and such things like that.
Well my idea goes a bit of a step further than that and basically completely and totally randomizes the spawn locations of the maps jungle monsters and camps, and every time that they fell they would then appear in another random location across the map as well (with the exceptions of the teams own home bases of course). For example, say the small/lesser wraith monster first spawned in the mid lane near it's original camp, but a couple feet from it as well. Once it first falls (i.e. all of the monsters in that specific camp get taken down and out for the very first time in that specific game), they would then just respawn at a completely and totally different location on the map, such as in the baron nashor pit for example.
This would apply to all of the monsters, including the dragon and the baron nashor monsters as well. To make and keep it fair to some extent though, none of the monsters would be able to spawn in any of the teams home bases, so no more completely free and easy baron nashor attempts here you guys.
I'm also thinking of going a step further with this idea and having the monsters just randomly start attacking any target nearby them as well, or even better and fairer, just giving them some buffs specific to them as well (i.e. the wolves would have some [lesser] form of Warwick's Blood Scent ability, the wraiths would be able to fear opponents temporarily for a few seconds, the golems would be able to become completely unmovable walls for a short amount of period of time, etc.).
So there's a bit of counter-play involved with them though, we could also just make it so that the enemies always spawn in one of several fixed locations across the map at the very start of the game, or even just one location entirely instead of that at the beginning of the game as well (i.e. the dragon would always spawn in the top or mid lane of the map at the very start/beginning of the game, but then change it's location to spawn at after it's very first defeat of the game there).
So what do you think of my idea? Do you think that it could use some improvements or do you just think that it's completely and totally fine the way that it is right now currently? Sound off in the comments section below and as always thank you for your time.
