Riot Lyte shared the video a while ago.

Biggest issue with this video is the idea of "Toxic players" and "non-toxic players" being different people. They're all the same. Everyone can be toxic, or non-toxic. No one is toxic all the time, and no one isn't toxic all the time.

Toxicity is the manifestation of a state of mind, not a characteristic trait. What varies between person to person is how quickly they become toxic and how toxic they are.

But everyone's toxic. The goal of "eliminating toxicity" is impossible, because that would require no players.

One of the best video I've seen on toxicity. That last part of shared reality, really made me smile. It couldn't be more true.

Thank you for sharing this.

Best defusing tactic is confusing

Player 1: FUCKING NOOB Player 2: I'm gay Player 1: I FUKED UR MOM Player 2: That's not nice. Player 1: stop feeding noob Player 2: I'm a cat. Player 2: Miao~ Player 1: stopped writing the whole game

This a video from 2013 and their first example of toxicity in gaming is a screen shot of Amumu on the old Summoners Rift Map.

Says alot about the league community lol

Off topic, but Extra Credits in general is great.

The answer is quite simple, treat people the way you would want to be treated! Labeling someone "toxic" is only adding to the problem, would you want to be called toxic?

Ooh I love Extra Credits I'm pretty sure they also have a video on the design of Summoners Rift that's great.
