Increase requirement for Ranked

Anybody will eventually reach level 30, especially with EXP boost... but are these players really competent enough to be playing in ranked?

Upon reaching level 30, most players will still haven't understand basic mechanics of the game. I think there needs to be an increased requirements to be able to queue for ranked. Make this mode only for competent skilled players.

First, reaching level 30. Then, 200 normal blind pick wins. Lastly, 100 draft pick wins.

Weed out the noobs from ranked please.

I never really played Blind Pick. I basically went from bots to draft.

Hm i think the Idea isnt bad because if i think back on my times as a low level, where i played with level 30 friends too^^, Im like was that really me :D. Even tho my friends told me to reach the 300 wins before starting ranked, which I did, the result was, with a lot of help by my friends, silver 5... gladly. So I think it`s a very good Idea and it could also prevent that not experienced players with a lot of potential start to stuck in silver or bronze (expecially if ur a support without real carry potential).

Please Riot, for season 6... do this.

Ranked is about competition and being competent... and most players at the lower tier don't even understand the basics yet.

Sometimes, I ask them, what makes you think you're competent enough to play ranked? After they claimed they only know ADC or doesn't have a supp champion.

Their answer, I am level 30.

I think you guys have the wrong idea. In SC 2, anybody can play ranked starting on Day 1. If anything, LoL should remove the entire leveling system. Runes and purchasing 16 champions should be your 'right of passage' into ranked play.
The big change that needs to be made is that the average player should be around Gold 3. As it stands, the average player is silver 3 and lower. There is too great of a disparity between bronze/low-silver players and thats why games feel uneven in terms of skill at those ELOs.

I've never thought ranked was "only for competent skilled players," rather a way to see how you match up against other players. If you don't know the basic mechanics of the game, you won't get very far. And that's their own problem to worry about.

Also, number of wins means almost nothing. You can play 500 games without understanding everything about LoL and still end up with over 200 wins. Then play 300 draft pick and win 100. Winning doesn't make you understand the game better, it just means you've played a lot of games.

The current requirement is to be level 30, and people complain that you shouldn't do ranked right at 30. Make the requirement 100 draft wins, and people will complain about people playing right after getting 100 wins. Whatever the requirement is, others will get mad at you for not doing more than that. If fresh 30s want to ranked, they can do ranked, that's how it is set up. If they want to do well in ranked, then that's another issue, and one for them to worry about, not you or anyone else. "but what if they're in my game" then you try to help them (without being rude), and, win or lose, keep playing. if you're good, then one loss won't matter a whole lot.

"Weed out the noobs" is bronze, silver, up to wherever the person reading this is (because "everyone not as good as me is trash" in this community)
