@Riot: I won't want to go back to normal old LoL after this event ends.

This Bilgewater event breathes new life into League. From the amazing work on the sadly temporary map, to the amazing announcer work, the game finally feels cohesive to me after playing for 6 years.

For once, I feel like this game is alive. It has a personality and it's beyond immersive. Going back to the boring old "An enemy has been slain; an ally has been slain; you have been slain; double kill; shut down" after "YARRRR! WON'T BE THE LAST BODY TO FALL!!" is going to have a detrimental effect on how much fun I'm having. The new map has character. The announcer has personality. Why introduce such an amazing upgrade to the bland immersion of the game only to take it away?

The normal announcer is just so lifeless. Where's the character behind it? Butcher's Bridge is the complete package. Howling Abyss needs a characterized announcer to fit the theme. Summoner's Rift needs an announcer that immerses you. Twisted Treeline could have the spookiest announcer voice of the lot. Crystal Scar... Well... Maybe if it wasn't filled with bots it could get an updated announcer. >_>

TL:DR: I understand this current event is for a limited time, but use this as an example in immersion and characterization of the way the game is as a cohesive unit. Keep maps filled with flare and bring in announcers to match the themes of every map with varying personalities. I don't want to have this event end and think "Well, the pizza party is over. Back to the saltine crackers."

A little bump to see if anyone has any opinions on this. I know this board moves kinda fast sometimes so I waited a couple days before bumping out of dat courtesy.
