The Forbidden Jungle - New Game Map [Jungle Fever/Surprise Party/Haunted Woods - Game Modes]
The Forbidden Jungle The Forbidden Jungle is a map the size of Summoner's Rift, circular in shape and containing a jungle of the same rough design as the jungle commonly found in Summoner's Rift. There is a spawn pad in the centre of the map that, after 30 seconds, becomes inactive and will not heal or grant the ability to shop. The jungle is filled with dramatically more bushes, giving the feeling that there is something around each corner. Every 5 minutes the trees will uproot and shift themselves to create a new set of paths, making sure that summoners do not get comfortable with the map. There are no dead ends, however with the shifting of the trees champions can be knocked aside with their movement. This gives the indended effect to splitting up players and surprise players with a new turn of events. All players have slightly increased resource regeneration and have increased passive gold generation rate and experience generation. In each corner of the map there are four tunnels, each one connecting with the other tunnel opposite to it (North tunnel connects to the South Tunnel, and East tunnel connects to the West tunnel). All players can use these tunnels to travel quickly around the map. There are camps of neutral monsters located around the map - fair game for all! Small neutral monsters roam around the map freely; these small monsters grant a small amount of gold bonus. Medium neutral monsters are stationary and found in small pockets of the map, giving bonus experienced and a small amount of health and mana to their killer. Strong monsters spawn after 10 minutes and are found in four pockets of the map: North-East, North-West, South-East, and South-West. Upon being slain, these monsters grant bonus gold, experience, health and mana to the team that slays it, and grants the slaying team an aura. The tunnel closest to the slain large monster will close and only open to the team obtaining the correct aura for it's tunnel (For example: Slayer of the South-West large monster gains the SW aura, and the South tunnel will be sealed and will only open for the individuals who have the SW aura). With this map there are three game modes to accompany it: Jungle Fever, Surprise Party, and Haunted Woods.
Jungle Fever This stand off is similar to the traditional Capture the Flag. Four teams that consist of two players are spawned into the map at random points in the jungle. All teams gain +1 points for killing members of an enemy team. The relic that is found on the summoning pad in the centre of the map is a key point. Those who capture the relic gain a massive boost in experience, are healed for their health and mana, and are put into stasis for 10 seconds. While in stasis, they gain +1 points per second and can buy from the shop without fear of being attacked. Once they leave their stasis, they are randomly teleported to a random point in the map, with the aura known as the Flag. If they are killed by an enemy team, the team who kills them goes into stasis for 5 seconds, with all the effects found in the original stasis, and come out of stasis at full health and mana but do not teleport randomly elsewhere. Those with the Flag are constantly revealed while they are not stealthed. The first duo team to obtain 100 points are crowned the winners. This will require teamwork from your partner, so choose who that is and who you will play wisely.
Surprise Party This game mode is a pure and simple affair: survive as long as you can! There is only one team, and as you move throughout the woods there are surprises at every turn! You may encounter a fiddlesticks ghost using Crowstorm over a wall. A Garen might pop out of a bush with a Decisive Strike! Or perhaps a Teemo might have accidentally misplaced his shrooms all over the map. Who knows! Jokes aside though, this game mode is pure and simple: computer controlled AI's are planted around the map to main, damage, surprise, and kill al wary travellers. And if you think you are safe standing still... Well, there might just be a Rengar On The Hunt to find and kill you. So beware every turn, but fear staying still. Every champion has 5 lives, and the last survivor standing will be crowned the winner. Shops are open at any time while standing on the pad or while waiting to respawn: use at your own risk! Work as a team or go at it alone, it doesn't matter; the longer you survive, the more wild the surprises in this party are!
Haunted Woods This is a two man team: You vs It. The first team is sent into the forest, finding the setting decidedly chilling: Trees are stripped of leaves, the ground is dead underfoot, the sky darkened with the light of the new moon. All players on the first team have their vision reduced by 200 and have allied vision removed. They enter the game at Level One, and have 25 seconds to run from the pad. After 25 seconds the hunter will spawn: A Rengar who is (Unsure on this one, could be player controlled or computer controlled). This Rengar starts at level 5 and gains experience at 1.5x the normal rate that anyone from team one does. Rengar can shop at any time, as long as he is on the pad at the centre of the map. Team One hiders can only shop for 10 seconds after levelling up. Everytime Rengar gains a kill, all Team One players are revealed to him (non-stealth and stealth alike) for 5 seconds. Rengar gains passive abilitys every 6 levels: Level 6 gives him 10% Tenacity and 5% movement speed, Level 11 gives him 20% Tenacity, 10% movement speed, and 20 movement speed out of combat, Level 16 gives him 30% Tenacity, 15% movement speed, 40 movement speed out of combat and the ability to see all invisible champions and units under Team One's control within 800 distance of Rengar. Hiders can win by either surviving for 60 minutes, killing the Rengar 3 times, or by being the last one alive for 10 minutes. Rengar can win by either slaying all the hiders once, or by obtaining maximum bone necklace stacks for 10 minutes. There is also another feature: every so often a 'clone' of someone on Team One's team will appear just on the edge on someone on Team One's vision. This is to give a mirage tactic: trying to lure summoners away from their allies and to get lost in the woods even further. The clones are not substantial and will disappear after leaving the vision of Team One or after 5 seconds. Well Summoners the choice comes down to this: run and hide, or fight and die. Stand together, or stand alone. In the night of the woods, evil things lurk. Don't stray too far... Good luck Summoners.
