Hey there! Got to play Dominion again (thank you Spl3en) and saw the new champion. Was wondering if she is going to be good or the "huhit's just Dom" guys are going to destroy the fun of a lot of people when she comes out. As I like to play tank I guess having a duoQ would be awesome with her. But most of time I'm solo. So I wonder what is going to happen. Thoughts?
Kholdstare131 votesHer W seems kind of OP for the map, but on the other hand she's a super squishy ADC and those never do well outside of top level premades, and the ones that DO perform well generally have enough mobility to stay in a good position (Vayne). I don't know that Kalista's passive is enough.
Still, the W is OP. The problem is that almost all of the top players who could team up and use her have quit since the boards debacle.

Well I noticed she seems to depend a lot on AA and this on yoloQ is never that good on squish shampions. But having someone throwing champs like that does not seem to be a good idea. Also miss comunication (or no comunication at all) could destroy her, she could link to someone that would end up having to go bot.
Kholdstare131 votesHer link isn't forced, it needs to be accepted. If bot DOES need to switch, there are still 2 unbound people who can go. And for ganks, having her soulbound go to perform it might actually work well if her ult is global range to pull them back up to fight once it's done.

RiotRiot 10YearSanta1 votesI think she'll be very strong in Dom, as long as she goes top and the person she binds with knows to not roam away from her too much. Her passive will allow her to survive early which a lot of adcs seem to have a problem with on Dom (from my point of view anyway).

Well yeah Dom is a free territory for assassins and gap closers so adc has a huge proglem there. That's why I mostly choose my champion last so if I see an adc I can pick Janna or Lulu that are pretty good to keep an adc alive (and so is Nami IMO but landing her Q is a problem xD). I hope she is agile enough to stay alive like Vayne can usually do there. Her Sentinel is very interesting too, could be a huge plus in high MMR Dominion. I think you guys will want to keep an eye on it, it could be a bit OP.

Jinx works there, so does Lucian. They are casters in yoloQ they are fine. Ofc Jinx is a bit hard to escape. Don't know your MMR but from what I've seen in high level you can make an adc work, but on low to mid it's a bit harder. Not saying it's impossible but they usually are bad. If you at least duoQ with a friend it's nice, but solo is just bad. I hate to have one of them in my team, but then I'll pick a champion that can keep them alive easier, other players won't do the same for me tho I play Jinx from time to time, tri pen build and poke the heck out of the enemy with her W. Use missiles for bigger range and with that global ult. Does more damage than a mage sometimes
Dantilq1 votesI am plat, and my MMR in dom is roughly plat as well. I play Jinx as ADC, not as caster. If you hit your E/zone with it, no one can duel you, except maybe Akali or Irelia, with their fairly long range dashes.
Also Dom is rarely 1v1, it's often skirmishes with like 2v2,3v3 etc, and it's there ADC shines, you use your teammates for protection and just deal as much damage as possible. Make yourself as bad a target as possible by good positioning, so even if enemy try to focus you, they will lose out.
Dr Easter1 votesDisagree. On most MMR you are going to have problems with an adc, also if you spend time to position yourself too much your team will end up dead. I'm not saying adc is all bad, but they need some good support from a team with nice cc. Otherwise you are going to be a piece of cake to the first gap closer that appears. Some are nice like Vayne, her E and Q give her a safe zone but still get killed in a blink if the player does a minimal mistake. She is really good pair with Nami (gotta be good to land her Q). At least this is what I do when I'm playing. When I see the ADC I'm either going to attack it first or force him to keep moving back (positioning). The problem is more lack of team work than the ADC itself IMO. I prefer to play Jinx as caster. As I said before I noticed she does same or more damage than a mage if you go tri pen build and use your missiles (for range). The less AA you need to do on these champions the better it will be for you . Except if you are playing an assassin that needs to use AA like Fiora.
Dantilq1 votesSpend time positioning? You just AA constantly with your long range, and when they get close you kite kite kite.
I mean enemy assassin can't run through your team to get to you, if you stay out of their range, and use your E W for peel, they will have a very hard time getting to you. If they ignore your team, and just go for you, then they will be dead.
It's similar with other ADC, pretty much ALL ADC, either have peel moves or escapes, and both work for that.
