Feature Game Mode: Luck of the Draw

LUCK OF THE DRAW

  • A gametype inspired by the theoretical situation in which Twisted Fate somehow becomes a far more powerful mage and begins to manipulate the League of Legends system in the only way he see's fair, adding an element of luck.

The Details:

  • You receive a random champion
  • You are assigned random summoner spells
  • You are assigned random runes and masteries (maybe not this one)

The Real Twist:

  • You cannot access the shop at all in the game. Instead you will receive one random complete item upon starting the game.
  • example build at start: item 3153
  • After 3 minutes you will receive a second item slot. Your first starting item is re-rolled. Meaning you now have two (possibly) unique items at 3 minutes.
  • example build at 3 minutes: item 3174 item 3046
  • After this you will receive another item slot every two (2) minutes ALONG WITH A COMPLETE RANDOMISATION OF YOUR INVENTORY until you have a complete inventory at 11 minutes.
  • example build at 5 minutes: item 3156 item 3041 item 3111
  • example build at 7 minutes: item 3106 item 3151 item 3190 item 3075
  • example build at 9 minutes: item 3048 item 2049 item 3715 item 3069 item 3116
  • example build at 11 minutes: item 3048 item 3046 item 3074 item 3143 item 3078 item 2045
  • Once you have a complete build it will be COMPLETELY RANDOMIZED every three (3) minutes, until the completion of the game. Dying will not reset your build (yet).

That would be the funniest shit ever. You'd be awfully pissed though when the champ you get receives a troll build but your opponent is suddenly op with some viable shit. Still an awesome idea though.

hate it. So your character could be totally ineffective cause of pure luck. Thankfully riot will never do.

Making the most of random champion and summoner spell picks I can see, but itemization is too important to gameplay to mess with on top of all that. Nemesis could be fun because you had to try and make the most of a bad teamcomp or bring out non-meta picks to adapt to the situation. This idea doesn't let you do that. It makes attempting any kind of strategy almost impossible because you don't even know who your ADC (or whatever) is going to be by the time you've walked halfway across the map.

Maybe this could work somewhat on Howling Abyss, but not on any map requiring more coordination than "do we engage right now?" Even that would be a stretch.

We already have almost that. It's called Ultimate Bravery.

The only thing you added was your build randomly morphing mid-match.
